what it is

A steady place to bring it

After a death, support often drops away within a few weeks. That's often when the real grief arrives. These sessions are a steady place to bring whatever you're carrying, whether the loss was last week or years ago. We might talk, sit quietly, or make something with our hands. There's no right way to do this, and no rush.

good to know

  • Sessions are around 50 minutes
  • For grief after a person or an animal
  • I'm not a counsellor or psychologist, and this isn't a crisis service
  • Open to all beliefs, and none

Letters from Soft Landing

Occasional reflections, resources and small rituals for living, loving and saying goodbye.

I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians. The land where I live and work is Darug Country. Sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and to all First Nations people who carry their own grief and loss.
