The SoftLanding Circle

A monthly space to sit with grief, love and loss, gently and creatively, alongside others who understand.

grief + community

what it is

Grief doesn't stop when the funeral ends, and most of us don't get many places to keep talking about it. The Circle is one of those places.

Each month brings a new theme, something to read, something to make and a small way to remember. You can take part quietly from home, or join others to share. There's no right way to be here, and you don't need to be newly bereaved to belong.

each month

What arrives, month by month

A letter

A personal note from me exploring the month's theme.

A making prompt

A simple creative exercise, drawing on art therapy, to do at your kitchen table.

A small ritual

A gentle practice to honour someone you're missing.

A gathering

A circle, in person in Sydney or online, to share and listen.

This month's theme

"The Things We Keep"

The objects we can't let go of, and why.

coming soon

Be first to know when the Circle opens

The Soft Landing Circle is coming soon. Leave your email and I'll write to you the moment the doors open — no spam, just a gentle note when it's time.

one-to-one grief support

If you'd rather talk privately, I also offer one-to-one grief sessions for anyone missing a person or an animal. Around 50 minutes, in person in Sydney's Inner West or online.

good to know

  • The Circle isn't therapy or a crisis service, and I'm not a psychologist.
  • New themes arrive on the 1st of each month.
  • Gatherings are optional, and you can come as often or as rarely as you like.
  • It's open to all beliefs, and none.

Letters from Soft Landing

Occasional reflections, resources and small rituals for living, loving and saying goodbye.

I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians. The land where I live and work is Darug Country — sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and to all First Nations people who carry their own grief and loss.
