Keeping theirstory close

Handmade keepsakes and remembrance projects that hold a life, a love and a voice. Made together, before or after a goodbye.

remembrance + keepsakes

what it is

What is a remembrance project?

Some things are too precious to leave to memory alone. A grandmother's laugh. The way your dad told that one story. The weight of a small dog asleep on your lap.

A remembrance project gathers those things and gives them a place to live. It might be made with someone while they're still here, for the people they'll leave behind. It might be made after a death, as part of grieving. Or it might simply be a way to honour a life well loved.

Because of my art therapy background, the making is part of it. Many people find that working with their hands helps them feel things words can't reach. No art skills needed.

Pricing shared after our first conversation

Every remembrance begins with listening.

Letters from Soft Landing

Occasional reflections, resources and small rituals for living, loving and saying goodbye.

I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians. The land where I live and work is Darug Country — sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and to all First Nations people who carry their own grief and loss.
